I reuse an umbrella bag which some stores provide on rainy days to keep harvested green onions (I grow them in a community gardens) on the kitchen door using a strong magnet. It works well for a couple of days, and by then I’d have used the top green part and they’re short enough to fit in the fridge!
Oh.. I don’t recommend this storing method during a heatwave (unless your house is seriously air-conditioned)! (＾ｰ^)ノ
